Job summary

Pentair is hiring a Machinist for the Delavan, WI facility. You will set up, gauge, and run production on castings using CNC lathes or mills, including full tooling and fixturing setup, precision measurement, and GD&T inspection to maintain tight tolerances.

Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply. You will read blueprints, apply offsets, and perform various machining operations while maintaining coolant systems and performing basic maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC mill/lathe setup and operation experience preferred.
• GD&T and print comprehension; understand shop math.
• Ability to multi-task to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Set up, gauge, and run production on castings using CNC lathes or mills.
• Tooling/fixturing setup, precision measurement, and maintaining tolerances.
• Read blueprints and GD&T; make offsets and edits as needed.
• Perform machining operations including facing, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring.
