Job summary

Twin Disc, Incorporated in Racine, WI is seeking a CNC Machinist for 1st shift. The role runs 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with pay from $26.50/hr to $38/hr. Join a team building advanced transmission and propulsion components with a long-standing, stable employer.

You will set up and operate CNC machines, read blueprints, and use gauges to ensure precision and quality. Training is provided to motivated learners in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of CNC machining experience (lathes, mills, drilling).
• Ability to read blueprints and perform precision measurements.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and willingness to learn.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• 2-3 years of CNC machining experience (lathes, mills, drilling, grinding)
• Setup experience (desired)
• Mechanical/technical experience and willingness to learn
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
• We'll train, if you're willing to learn

What You Will Learn

• Full-scope CNC machining (lathes, milling, drilling, gear work)
• Setup processes and advanced machining operations
• Use of gauges, tooling, and precision measurement
• Hands-on training across multiple machine types
• Work on real-world applications (government, airport fire trucks, tugboats)
