Job summary

TWIN DISC, Inc. is hiring a CNC Machinist for the 2nd shift in Racine, WI. The role involves operating CNC machines, maintaining part accuracy with gauges, and editing G&M Codes as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years CNC Machining experience.
• Use of gauges and measuring tools.
• Willingness to learn and contribute positively.
• Experience with one or more of: CNC lathes, hobs, mills, grinding, vertical or horizontal machines.
• Basic editing of G&M Codes.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines for second shift production.
• Set up and monitor gauges to ensure part accuracy.
• Edit G&M Codes as needed for production runs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• 2-3 yearsCNC Machining
• Use of gauges
• Great attitude and willingness to learn
• Experience with one or more of the following: CNClathes, hobs, mills, grinding, vertical or horizontal machines
• Basic editing of G&M Codes
• Experience in a Lean Manufacturing Environment is a plus
