Job summary

Twin Disc, Incorporated in Racine, WI, is seeking a CNC Machinist on the 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM). The role requires operating CNC machines, reading blueprints, and performing precision measurements to produce high-quality parts in a team setting.

1st Shift:

7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, etc.)
• Read blueprints and perform precision measurements
• Use gauges and inspection tools
• Produce high-quality parts in a team environment

What We're Looking For

• 2-3 years of CNC machining experience (lathes, mills, drilling, grinding)
• Setup experience (desired)
• Mechanical/technical experience and willingness to learn
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
• We'll train, if you're willing to learn

What You Will Learn

• Full-scope CNC machining (lathes, milling, drilling, gear work)
• Setup processes and advanced machining operations
• Use of gauges, tooling, and precision measurement
• Hands-on training across multiple machine types
• Work on real-world applications (government, airport fire trucks, tugboats)
