Job Posting – CNC Machinist

KH Industries, a manufacturer of temporary industrial lighting and cord reels, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our production team. The CNC Machinist will work from solid models or drawings to build prototype fixturing, engineering samples, production parts, and plastic injection molds.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operation of all in-house machine shop equipment, including CNC/manual mills and lathes, surface grinders, and EDM.
• Read and interpret part and mold designs in CAD, SolidWorks experience is a plus.
• Set up new jobs from blueprints, including tool and fixture selection.
• Perform basic in-process inspection using calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, ring gauges, and other visual inspection tools.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve fixture design.
• May be required to disassemble, clean, troubleshoot, and reassemble dies or molds.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Experience working with various materials, including plastics.
• Working knowledge of speeds and feeds for various metals.
• Ability to work independently.
• 3+ years of CNC experience is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with high-quality standards.

Physical work environment will require:

• Able to frequently bend over, push, pull or grasp items, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
