Job description

As a CNC Machinist at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our Aerospace (AERO) business unit. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts for aerospace applications. Your expertise in machining and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.

Reporting and Location

You will report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor and work at our South Bend, IN location.

This role impacts the quality and efficiency of manufacturing processes, ensuring aerospace products meet high standards of precision and performance.

Compensation

Pay: $31.64/hr

Key Responsibilities

1. Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.
2. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
3. Inspect finished parts to meet quality standards.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during machining.
5. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
