Join the CNC Machinist Role at Holtec International

Holtec International is seeking qualified applicants for the position of CNC Machinist at its manufacturing facilities in East Pittsburgh, PA. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision components, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring quality control.

Responsibilities include:

1. Reading and interpreting CNC programs, blueprints, and work instructions.
2. Setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes.
3. Adjusting machine settings for optimal performance.
4. Loading raw materials and verifying alignment.
5. Conducting in-process inspections and using precision measuring tools.
6. Documenting inspection results and ensuring parts meet specifications.
7. Performing troubleshooting and minor repairs on CNC machinery.
8. Maintaining safety protocols and participating in team meetings.

Minimum qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-Year Technical Degree or relevant apprenticeship completion.
• 3-5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience with CNC machinery and programming.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Fanuc, Siemens 840D, and HAAS controls.
• Knowledge of different metal types and machining characteristics.
• Ability to perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
