Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in RIDC Park, Nidec Vamco Corporation is a fast-growing manufacturer and a global leader in the design of high-speed automation equipment for the metal stamping industry.

Position Summary

The CNC Machinist sets up and operates conventional and CNC machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic parts.

Essential Functions

• Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
• Set up, operate, edit, and program CNC machines and machining centers.
• Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, and grinders.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or vocational-technical school.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
