Job summary

MBC Talent Connections seeks an experienced CNC Machinist for afternoon or night shifts in Ogden, UT. You will operate and set up CNC equipment to produce precision gas turbine engine components in a clean, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, measuring against blueprints, and maintaining documentation. Candidates should have 4+ years of machining experience and GD&T knowledge; aerospace materials familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4+ years of machining experience with lathes, mills, or grinders
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing specifications
• Understanding of GD&T fundamentals
• Experience with precision machining preferred
• Familiarity with aerospace materials is a plus

About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced CNC Machinist to work afternoon or night shifts producing precision gas turbine engine components. This role involves operating and setting up CNC equipment in a clean, organized, and team-focused manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, grinders, shapers, and manual machines
• Machine, grind, and test parts to engineering and customer specifications
• Inspect parts to ensure compliance with blueprints and manufacturing standards
• Visually check components for defects, burrs, or surface damage
• Maintain accurate part identification, records, and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work assigned shift:
  • 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM or
  • 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Physical Requirements

• Lift to 50 lbs
• Push/pull up to 60 lbs
• Grip strength of 50 lbs
• Ability to reach above shoulder height
