Location: Northborough, MA

Join our global client in Northborough as a passionate CNC Machinist. We seek a skilled, multitasking programmer to operate, program, and support maintenance of CNC machines such as mills and lathes to produce metal parts.

The role involves ensuring proper machine operation, inspecting parts, and assisting with assembly. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Program, set-up, and operate CNC milling and lathe machines to produce parts.
• Determine setup, tooling, and machining parameters according to specifications.
• Adjust machine settings to ensure precision and accuracy.
• Oversee and modify the cutting process as needed.
• Analyze component configurations to determine efficient machining operations.
• Follow inspection protocols to detect errors and ensure quality.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and consistency.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on machines.
• Collaborate with engineering and supervisory staff to troubleshoot issues.
• Assemble finished products according to blueprints.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• CNC training at vocational school level or higher.
• 8+ years of CNC operation experience on mills and lathes.
• 5+ years experience with Hass/Fanuc controls.
• Proficient in MasterCam programming.
• Ability to use measurement tools like Micrometers, Vernier Calipers, CMM.
• Comfortable performing machine maintenance.
• Understanding of M and G codes.
• Detail-oriented and precise.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
