Job description

We are seeking a talented CNC Machinist to operate, set up, and program CNC machines for precision machining projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining processes, quality standards, and safety procedures. You will be responsible for producing high-quality parts, ensuring machine efficiency, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Key responsibilites include but are not limited to:

  • Setting up and operating CNC machines (milling, lathe, or multi-axis) to produce aerospace parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal operation.
  • Conducting quality checks on finished parts, ensuring they meet customer specifications.
  • Maintaining accurate production records and complete necessary documentation.
  • Following all safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborating with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Working independently and as part of a team.
  • Having strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

You should be proficient in:

  • CNC Tooling
  • G-Code
  • High School / GED
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Machines & technologies you'll use:

  • CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Fanuc, Okuma, Makino, Dmg Mori Seiki)
  • CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Okuma)
  • CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) (Dmg Mori Seiki, Mikron, Fanuc, Okuma)

Salary info:

$22 - $32 / hr
