Job summary

Manpower is partnering with a precision manufacturing company in the greater St. Louis area to hire several CNC Machinists for the production team.

You will operate CNC mills and lathes to produce parts to tight tolerances, read blueprints, and perform in-process inspections, ensuring quality throughout each run. Shifts include day (five eight-hour days) and night (four ten-hour days), with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for joining the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years CNC machining experience.
• Technical degree may substitute for some experience.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and use common inspection tools.
• Consistent track record of safe machine operation and quality performance.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce parts to documented requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and job documentation to confirm features, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Perform in-process inspection using standard measuring instruments and document results.
• Monitor part quality during runs; communicate issues and elevate out-of-tolerance conditions promptly.
• Perform routine machine care per standard work.

Manpower is currently partnering with a precision manufacturing company in the greater St Louis area and they are hiring several CNC Machinists to join their production team.

In this position, you’ll operate CNC equipment to produce high-quality, tight-tolerance components built exactly to specification. Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: St Louis, MO

Pay Rate Range: $28-35/hr

Shift: Day shift (5 eight hour days) AND Night shift (4 ten hour days)
