Responsibilities
The CNC Machinist position is part of the Fabrication Team. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following):
- This role you will need to have the ability to set up the machine to produce components (tooling andwork holding).
- Edit programs as necessary to work with the set up andtoolingselection.
- Understanding ofPTFE (Polytetraflouroethylene)to produce a smooth defect free surface.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints. Ability to use all measurement devices (calipers,micrometers,etc).

Requirements
- CNCmachine set-up (tooling andwork holding)
- Blueprint reading and interpretation
- Tooling offsets and some editing
- Understanding use of calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers, height stands and other precision measuring tools.
- Troubleshoot machine issues
- G-code and M-code fundamentals
- Reading and troubleshooting existing CNC programs
- Haas mill and Okuma mill turn experience a plus
