Due to growth, we are looking for a full-time CNC Machinist to join our team in Alliance, Ohio.

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist with extensive experience operating Large Horizontal Boring Mills, specifically Gray Mills with Fanuc controls. This role involves working with high-precision, complex, and tight-tolerance parts, requiring a strong understanding of machining processes, safety standards, and the ability to troubleshoot and adapt in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

You will assist in the production of heavy industrial cranes using manual machining equipment while ensuring that quality comes standard with every order.

Responsibilities

• Create and run programs on CNC machines.
• Ability to read blueprints in metric and standard.
• Set-up tooling and fixtures for products
• Understanding of machining process and production operations
• Ability to machine to tight tolerances
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, and indicators)
• Complete in-process inspection documentation as required for quality specifications.
• Troubleshoot problems and develop solutions.
• Participate in training at the Alliance headquarters before transitioning to the Girard facility.
  
  

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience operating Large Horizontal Boring Mills.
• Strong knowledge of tooling capabilities and machining processes.
• Proficient in using metrology tools and interpreting technical standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Open to change and capable of adapting quickly to new processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, environmentally friendly work environment.
