• Interpret instructions and respond to management’s direction to keep production moving.
• Use calipers, gauges, and micrometers to verify work.

Our client, Industrial is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the Manufacturing team supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the drive to produce quality parts consistently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Knoxville, TN

Pay Range:

Shift: 4PM - 2:30AM

What's the Job?

• Operate a CNC machine to fabricate tubes, rods, and components used in hydraulic cylinders.
• Operate manual machines for fabrication when required.
• Read mechanical drawings for components, tubes, and rods, and make needed calculations.
• Interpret instructions and respond to management’s direction to keep production moving.
• Use quality control equipment such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers to verify work.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a production environment (preferred).
• Programming experience (preferred).
• Ability to apply basic mathematical principles including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and fractions.
• Willingness to follow safety and security policies, report unsafe conditions, and maintain a clean work environment.
