Mancan is partnering with a Brunswick company to hire CNC Machinists for 1st shift. The role involves operating and setting up CNC machines, reading blueprints, and performing regular maintenance. Pay starts at $20+ per hour based on experience, with opportunities for overtime depending on workload.

The successful candidate will hold a high school diploma or vocational CNC training, with industry certifications preferred. Reliable transportation and clean background are required.

Responsibilities

Mancan has paired with a growing company in Brunswick looking for CNC Machinists!

1st shift
MondayThursday: 6:30 AM Min 3:00 PM (possibly till 4-5pm depending on work center demand) Friday: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM Occasional Saturdays: 6:30 AM 11:00 AM (as needed)

$20+/hr Based on experience

• Operate and set up CNC machines to produce precision machined components
• Interpreted technical blueprints and designs to understand the specifications and requirements of a part
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently
• Measure & examine completed parts to verify conformance to specifications using precision tools like micrometers/calipers
• Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials onto machines
• Adjust machine settings to optimize performance while maintaining quality
• Adhered to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

• Holds a high school diploma, vocational training in CNC machining, and industry certifications, with a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on new technologies and techniques.
• Must have reliable transportation, and clean background.
