Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC setup and operation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience reading G-Code and M-Code.
• Proficiency with precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to produce precision components.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and machining specifications.
• Install tooling, fixtures, and materials for production runs.
• Load CNC programs and make minor program adjustments as needed.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust tooling or offsets to maintain quality.
• Complete production documentation and quality records.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve machining issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to produce precision components
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and machining specifications
• Install tooling, fixtures, and materials for production runs
• Load CNC programs and make minor program adjustments as needed
• Perform first‑piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC setup and operation experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience reading and working with G-Code and M-Code
• Proficiency using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers and calipers
• Experience adjusting feeds, speeds, tooling, and machine offsets
• Ability to operate manual machining equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or apprenticeship in machining or manufacturing technology is a plus.
• Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods and work in a shop environment; flexible to work required shifts if needed.
