Job summary

Techoundsllc is hiring a CNC Machinist / Operator (Live Tooling) in Fountain Valley, CA. The role involves operating one or more CNC machines (Mill, Lathe with live tooling, and Mill Turn) and is a direct hire on W-2.

Qualifications

Four years’ experience operating and setting-up CNC machines (lathes/mills/mill-turn) preferred.
Advanced math skills (trigonometry and algebra) required.
Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications.

Responsibilities

Start and observe machining processes, adjust settings for multiple passes.
Set up and edit CNC programs.
Inspect parts with precision instruments.
Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines and perform preventive maintenance.
Operate multiple machines concurrently.
Position tools and control cutting depth, speed, and coolant flow.
Work in an R&D environment.

CNC Machinist / Operator (Live Tooling) – Direct Hire Job/ W-2

Pay $30.00 per hour

Fountain Valley, CA 92708

The CNC Operator is responsible for operating one or more CNC machines (Mill, Lathe with live tooling and/or Mill Turn CNC).

Responsibilities and Requirements:

Start machine and observe its operation to reposition work piece, or adjust machine settings for multiple or successive passes.
Experience working in an R&D environment.
Set up and edit programs.
Inspect or measure using precision measuring instruments.
Maintains machine and perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on shop machines.
Troubleshoot CNC Machines.
Runs more than one machine/production process at a time.
Calculates and sets machine controls to position tools, and regulate cutting depth, speed, feed or coolant flow.
Four years’ experience operating and setting-up CNC machines (Lathes, Mills, Mill Turn Centers) preferred
Must be able to determine production methods and sequence of operations to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications
Advanced math skills (I.e., trigonometry and advanced algebra)
Knowledge of Mastercam/Esprit a plus
