Job summary

Techoundsllc is seeking a hands-on CNC Mill & Lathe Machinist in Irvine, CA. This full-time role requires operating CNC mills and lathes in a fast-paced shop with precision tooling fixtures and varied production parts.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of CNC milling and turning, 3–5 years of programming (Fusion 360 preferred), and strong measurement skills. Overtime and Saturdays may be required; good communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC mill and setup experience.
• 5+ years CNC lathe and setup experience.
• 3-5 years current programming experience preferred in milling and lathe using Fusion 360.
• Able to work weekday overtime and Saturdays as needed.
• Experience working with tight tolerances (+/- .001).
• Ability to take ownership, work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to inspect work for dimensional accuracies and maintain quality standards.
• Assist shop manager with reviewing and improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiencies and reduce scrap.
• Able to use inspection tools (Depth gauge, Drop gauge, Micrometers, Calipers Etc.).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Positive attitude and professional work ethic and have reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to stand and run machinery for individual jobs as well as production as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mill and lathe equipment to produce parts.
• Inspect dimensions and ensure conformance to specs.
• Collaborate with shop manager to improve processes and reduce scrap.
• Maintain precision tooling fixtures and setups.
• Document work and maintain a safe, clean work area.

CNC Mill & Lathe Machinist

• Work Location: IRVINE -In person
• Hourly Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
• Location: Irvine, CA

This is a full-time hands-on CNC mill and lathe position

Fast paced environment requires high energy level, commitment to quality and attention to detail.

Machine shop supports inside work centers with precision tooling fixtures and small to large volume production and development parts.

Skills Required:

• Minimum 5 years CNC mill and setup experience
• Minimum 5 years CNC lathe and setup experience
• 3 - 5 years of current programming experience preferred in milling and lathe using any software (Fusion 360 is a plus)
