Techoundsllc in Fountain Valley, CA is seeking a CNC Operator (Live Tooling) for direct-hire. The role requires running and setting up CNC mills/turns with live tooling, reading blueprints, and performing precision measurement. Expect a 2nd shift with $30.00 per hour pay in a physical shop environment.

Candidate should have extensive CNC experience, be able to troubleshoot, and handle multiple machines concurrently while maintaining quality and throughput targets.

Formación

• Four years’ experience operating and setting-up CNC machines (Lathes, Mills, Mill Turn Centers) preferred.
• Must be able to determine production methods and sequence of operations to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Advanced math skills (e.g., trigonometry and advanced algebra).
• Knowledge of Mastercam/Esprit is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Start machine and observe its operation to reposition work piece or adjust machine settings for multiple passes.
• Set up and edit programs; inspect or measure using precision instruments.
• Maintain machine and perform preventive/corrective maintenance as needed.
• Troubleshoot CNC machines and run more than one machine/production process at a time.
• Calculate and set machine controls for tool position, cutting depth, speed, feed, and coolant flow.

The CNC Operator is responsible for operating one or more CNC machines (Mill, Lathe with live tooling and/or Mill Turn CNC).

• - Start machine and observe its operation to reposition work piece, or adjust machine settings for multiple or successive passes.
• - Experience working in an R&D environment.
• - Set up and edit programs.
• - Inspect or measure using precision measuring instruments.
• - Maintains machine and perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on shop machines.
• - Troubleshoot CNC Machines.
• - Runs more than one machine/production process at a time.
• - Calculates and sets machine controls to position tools, and regulate cutting depth, speed, feed or coolant flow.
