ProMach, Inc. — Sentry Equipment in Forest, VA — is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate manual and CNC machinery, read blueprints, and produce precision parts to engineering drawings. This onsite role emphasizes setup, measurement, and safe, efficient production.

You'll be responsible for equipment maintenance, tool offsets, and following Lockout/Tagout and safety procedures while contributing to a productive team with generous benefits and stable hours.

We specialize in integrating packaging equipment and conveying systems into cost-effective and efficient plan designs.The CNC Machinist is responsible for operating and maintaining manual and CNC machinery to produce precision parts in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. The role involves setting up and operating equipment, measuring parts for accuracy, maintaining tolerance, performing routine machine maintenance, and ensuring safe and efficient operations. The machinist is also responsible for maintaining production schedules, assisting in employee training, and contributing to a safe and organized work environment.**Are you excited about this work?*** Read & understand blueprint drawings (fractions / decimals)* Understanding what measuring instruments to use for application. (tape line, micrometers, dial indicator & calipers etc.)* Source materials and purchased part for projects* Perform basic machinery maintenance as needed* Making minor tool wear and depth offsets* Set up and operate CNC equipment to machine parts to the proscribed specifications while maintaining a satisfactory level of production.* Strictly follow all job safety requirements and procedures including machine guarding, forklift and hoist operation and housekeeping requirements.* Ensure all machines set ups and shutdowns are in line with prescribed safety procedures.
