Job summary

Express Employment Professionals of Columbia is seeking a Skilled CNC Machinist to support a local manufacturer. You will read blueprints, load materials, run setups, and perform cycles to produce parts that meet specifications.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of CNC experience, familiarity with vertical and horizontal mills, G-code/M-code programming, and strong math and communication skills. This role offers benefits and opportunities through Express Employment.

Job description

Express Employment is immediately hiring Skilled CNC Machinist for a local company!

• Completions of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
• Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
• Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate a large number of parts
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly

Skills Needed:

• Minimum 1 year of experience of CNC Machining
• Experience with Vertical Horizontal
• Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
• A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
• Good communication abilities
• G-Code and M-Code Programming
