Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Baton Rouge seeks a CNC Machinist for an air-conditioned shop in East Baton Rouge. This full-time, long-term role offers $20-$35 per hour, Monday–Friday, 7 am–4 pm, with overtime and weekend potential.

You will read drawings, program and operate CNC Mill, ensure high-quality output, and adhere to strict inspection standards. Eligible candidates should have CNC milling experience, strong G-code knowledge, and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• CNC Milling experience.
• Attention to detail required.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for CNC Machinist:

• Read and interpret drawings and 3-D Models, Program, set up, and operate CNC Mill
• Operate equipment to produce products to high-quality standards
• Demonstrate proper setup and work holding skills
• Strong G & M code knowledge
• Measure and record all necessary quality inspection requirements
