Job summary

Protolabs is seeking a CNC Operator I to set up, operate, and monitor CNC machining equipment. The role focuses on producing high-quality prototype and low-volume parts in a fast-paced digital manufacturing environment, with a 7am to 3pm schedule.

Ideal candidates will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and time management. Prior CNC experience and ability to read blueprints are important for successful performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools to ensure tolerances.
• Previous experience in a CNC manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate HAAS CNC machine.
• Load & unload parts.
• Change offsets as needed.
• Load programs to machines.
• Change and set tools.
• Report issues to team lead/supervisor.
• Follow shift processes and escalate problems.
• Ensure on-time delivery of jobs.
• Turnaround parts quickly with accuracy.
• Complete operator PMs during shift.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
