Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC equipment, read complex blueprints, and ensure parts meet exact specifications. The role involves inspections, data documentation, and collaboration with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and maintain high safety standards.

Candidates should have 5+ years of hands-on CNC experience, strong GD&T reading ability, and proficiency with precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal technical training preferred.
• 5+ years hands-on CNC machining experience.
• Read engineering drawings and GD&T proficiently.
• Identify G&M codes, CNC cycles, feed and speed.
• Experience with ferrous and non-ferrous metals; plastics a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, vertical mills) to precise specs.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and work orders to determine tolerances.
• Perform threading, precision boring, facing, turning, grooving, and contouring operations.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges, and vision systems.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area; perform routine machine maintenance.
