Job summary

Jamco America Inc in Everett, WA is seeking a Machine Operator 1 to perform moderately complex machining under supervision, including machine setup, operation, and inspection. You will work from drawings and work orders to produce quality parts while upholding safety and workmanship standards.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC/manual machines, interpreting drawings, aligning fixtures, monitoring production, and performing basic troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of machining or related operation experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow instructions.
• Experience setting fixtures and tools and operating production equipment.
• Familiarity with CNC and/or manual equipment and various controls.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and/or manual machines.
• Interpret engineering drawings and work orders.
• Align fixtures, set tools, load/unload parts.
• Monitor machine operation during runs.
• Inspect parts with precision tools.
• Troubleshoot and report issues to Lead/Supervisor.
• Coordinate with Programming and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Maintain equipment and work areas per safety/quality standards.
• Provide basic instruction to assistants/operators as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
