Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Washington state is seeking an experienced Machinist to operate CNC mills and machine cells, ensure safety, quality, and productivity, and troubleshoot production issues to meet set-up and cycle times.

You will read blueprints and control programs, set up first articles, run parts, verify tolerances, and collaborate across departments to maintain clean, organized work areas. Requires 3–5 years in heavy manufacturing and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow safety, quality, and production standards.
• Attend shift as scheduled and ensure punctuality.
• Operate multiple machines and perform cell setups and CNC mill work.
• Set up first part and run initial production, ensuring tolerances.
• Verify programs are stable and parts within spec; document as required.
• Troubleshoot basic production issues and maintain clean work area.
• Prepare and organize parts, tools, and documentation for next shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
