Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Winsted, CT is hiring a Junior CNC Manufacturing Technician. You will progress from learner to certified contributor in critical machining processes over 90 days, setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment on first shifts as needed.

Starting pay is $21.00 per hour with shift premiums of $2.00 on 2nd shift and $3.00 on 3rd shift; external hires may receive a $3,000 sign‑on bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a robust 401K match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Solid shop math skills including decimals and fractions.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specs and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines.
• Meet safety, productivity and quality expectations.
• Maintain production records and log calibration checks.
