Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of manufacturing experience required.
• Experience operating or troubleshooting CNC machinery required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometers.
• Basic shop mathematics skills, including fractions and conversions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CNC machinery for milling, punching, drilling, broaching, and reaming components.
• Troubleshoot machine performance and adjust settings to meet production targets.
• Identify defects, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Read blueprints and manufacturing documentation to guide work.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• Set up machines for production runs and manage tooling changes.
• Monitor output to ensure efficiency and quality against schedules.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Follow safety rules and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to improve processes.
