Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc in New Hampshire is seeking a CNC Machine Operator II to manage multiple CNC machines and medium-to-high complexity components. You will work both independently and with a team, training others as needed.

The role requires reading blueprints, GD&T familiarity, and solid math and computer skills, with hours spanning 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts. Equal Opportunity Employer. On-site manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated CNC experience.
• Must be able to read and understand work instructions in English.
• Basic experience reading blueprints.
• Some experience with GD&T is helpful.

Responsibilities

• All duties associated with level I at an intermediate level without assistance, as well as operating a minimum of two (2) types of CNC equipment.
• Responsible for changing and/or replacing broken tools independently.
• Identify issues with fixtures.
• Start to understand and interpret drawings as they relate to GD&T.
• Read CMM reports and or reports from the equator and adjust parts.
• Complete tasks as assigned in a timely manner.
• Participate in 5S Workplace organizational activities and maintain the area in good working order through sustainment activities.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is a necessary function of this position.
• May be required to work in other functional areas and/or facilities depending on business needs.
• May be required to work overtime or alternate shifts based on business needs.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
