Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial in Orange, VA is seeking dependable Machine Operators to join an industrial automation team. You will safely run CNC and conventional machines, finish parts to tight tolerances, and maintain a clean, safe workstation. A high school diploma or GED and prior machining experience are required.

This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunities for growth. The position offers weekly pay at $18.00–$19.00 per hour, with first, second, and third shifts available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior experience as a CNC Machinist, Machine Operator, or in a similar industrial role.
• Familiarity with various CNC machines, controls, and basic machining techniques.
• Solid understanding of blueprint reading, tool setups, and safety procedures.
• 2–4 years hands-on machining or manufacturing experience.
• Basic welding, torch, or metal fabrication knowledge.
• Experience in high-volume production or industrial automation environments.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Safely set up and operate conventional and CNC machinery, including winders, milling machines, drill presses, broaches, lathes, saws, grinders, and welders.
• Finishing & Quality: Sand, deburr, and clean finished parts to meet strict quality and dimensional standards.
• Technical Maintenance: Apply knowledge of material hardness, cutting tools, speeds/feeds, coolant application, and machining techniques.
• Safety & Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation in compliance with facility safety regulations.
