Staff Management | SMX is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in a full-time role on 2nd shift. Operate lathes, mills, and routers, load materials, and ensure parts meet precise specifications.

The position offers competitive pay of $22.00 to $25.50 per hour with four scheduled raises in the first year, plus benefits including medical and more. Apply to contribute to a high-tech work environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Background Check required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Drug test required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and routers, to produce parts to precise specifications.
• Load raw materials into machines and monitor the machining process to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
• Use measuring tools and instruments to perform quality checks on finished parts.
• Make adjustments to machine settings, tooling, and programs as needed to maintain optimal performance.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure proper functioning.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the machining process.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
