Job description

We're looking for a skilled CNC Machining Operator to join our team on either 1st or 2nd shift. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining our machining equipment to meet the company's production needs. You'll be a key part of our manufacturing process, ensuring we produce high-quality parts efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

As a CNC Machining Operator, you will:

  • Operate and Program Equipment: Run assigned CNC and manually operated milling equipment by interpreting blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications (including Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances - GD&T).
  • Ensure Quality: Perform first-run inspections and ongoing measurements to verify that parts meet specifications. You'll also troubleshoot processes, adjust controls, and replace tools as needed to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance: Keep machines running smoothly through regular preventative maintenance and changeovers.
  • Maintain Safety: Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, actively contributing to a safe work environment by reporting any incidents or near misses.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Maintain clear communication with your team and the next shift by accurately documenting and sharing information about actions taken, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
  • Contribute to the Team: Be a supportive team member who treats colleagues with respect, takes initiative on new requests, and consistently upholds company values and policies.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: An Associate's degree (A.A.) is preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of related work experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with CNC controls and manual milling equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of machine and tool operation, safety, and repair.
  • Ability to use various measuring equipment to verify part dimensions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to work as a team, treating others with respect and integrity.
  • A focus on quality and continuous improvement.
  • Adaptable and able to handle a dynamic work environment with competing demands.

Compensation and Benefits
