Job summary

Emerson RIDGID Products is seeking a Machine Operator based in Virginia for second shift (3p-11p) and third shift (11p-7a). The role involves operating conventional and CNC production machines, performing sanding and deburring, and ensuring quality through proper machining techniques.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with CNC experience. Ideal candidates will understand material hardness, tooling, speeds/feeds, and have familiarity with various CNC machines and controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with a variety of CNC machines and controls.
• Solid understanding of CNC programming and machining techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operates conventional and CNC production machines such as winders, milling machines, drill presses, broaches, lathes, saws, grinders, welders, etc.
• Sand, deburr, etc. as necessary to properly complete the machining operation with the quality required.
• Must understand material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements and machining techniques.
