Job summary

Emerson is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to set up, operate, and monitor CNC equipment, ensure dimensions meet specifications, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to drive continuous improvement. Strong reading of blueprints and precision measurement is essential.

Role requires the ability to stand long hours, lift up to 70 pounds, and maintain a safe manufacturing environment while delivering high-quality components.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Experience or training in CNC setup and operation.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints and specifications to understand part requirements.
• Set up CNC machines with fixtures, tools, and materials.
• Measure and prepare materials for machining.
• Start, monitor, and adjust machine operations for quality parts.
• Inspect parts using calipers and CMM to verify tolerances.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.
