Job summary

Emerson RIDGID Products in Orange, Virginia is seeking a Machine Operator to support the Cable Department Center of Excellence. The role offers second shift (3p-11p) and third shift (11p-7a) to join a dedicated team focused on achieving optimal performance.

You will operate conventional and CNC production equipment, perform deburring, and ensure machining quality. A high school diploma and CNC experience are required; welding knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with a variety of CNC machines and controls.
• Solid understanding of CNC programming and machining techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operates conventional and CNC production machines such as winders, milling machines, drill presses, broaches, lathes, saws, grinders, welders, etc.
• Sand, deburr, etc. as necessary to properly complete the machining operation with the quality required.
• Must understand material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements and machining techniques.
