Emerson in Brenham, TX is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to safely set up and program CNC equipment, ensuring high-quality production. You will perform dimensional inspections, edit CNC programs for efficiency, and conduct tool setups, while maintaining workflow and safety compliance.

The role requires knowledge of measurement tools, blueprints, and multi-axis machinery, with at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of sophisticated CNC machines including vertical and multi-axis milling operations, lathe/mill combinations, and engine lathes.
• Minimum of 1 year of applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and program CNC equipment and edit programs for efficiency.
• Perform dimensional inspections and 1st Article Inspection.
• Read and interpret machine shop blueprints and process sheets.
• Ensure parts flow through the shop following procedures and safety rules.
