Job summary

Decavo is seeking a CNC Machining Manager to lead the machining department, oversee staffing, schedules, tooling, quality and safety, and collaborate with Production, Engineering and Quality to improve manufacturability and on-time delivery.

You will provide CNC programming leadership, set machining standards, support production with issue resolution, and drive continuous improvement through methods, processes, and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of CNC programming and machining experience.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and GD&T.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience leading or supervising manufacturing staff.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assign work to machining employees.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, quality and performance.
• Train and evaluate employee performance.
• Create and maintain production schedules.
• Direct and supervise the work of at least two full-time employees in the machining department.
• Establish and maintain CNC machining standards.
• Serve as the liaison between Engineering and Machining.
• Support production management to meet goals and deadlines.
• Drive continuous improvement in designs and processes.
