Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Welding tech or machining degree in progress.
• Ability to read, write and understand instructions.
• Basic computer literacy and numeric skills.
• Ability to read tape measures, blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machining equipment and related tooling.
• Read drawings, determine tolerances, and convert decimals to fractions.
• Assist with numeric controlled programming.
• Perform rework, repairs and part inspections.
• Verify conformance with measurement tools.
• Load/unload components and tooling; maintain area.
• Record daily time data and participate in APS initiatives.
• Cross-train and assist other areas as production needs shift.
