Job summary

Accurus Aerospace Corporation in Athens, GA is seeking an entry-level CNC Machine Operator Trainee to learn setup, operation, inspection, and basic troubleshooting of CNC machines.

You will work with experienced operators, study blueprints and process instructions, and progress through a structured 90-day training program toward Level I–III operator roles; full-time day shifts may follow.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Structured CNC training program (Level I–III) provided during employment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and setup sheets.
• Experience with precision measuring tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automated CNC vertical and horizontal machines.
• Interpret X, Y, Z axes on machines and verify alignment.
• Perform daily checks and report concerns to supervisor.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and setup sheets accurately.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to verify parts meet specs.
• Follow safety policies and use PPE at all times.
