Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Associate's degree or 5+ years CNC/mechanic experience preferred.
• Fluent English with reading and writing ability.
• Ability to read safety information and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems.
• Troubleshoot CNC machine controls, motors, drives, sensors and related parts.
• Inspect machines for wear, damage and alignment issues.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Replace or repair bearings, gears, motors and tooling components.
• Assist with installation of new CNC equipment.
• Maintain records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Improve machine reliability with production and management teams.
• Follow safety procedures and lockout/tagout practices.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency maintenance calls.
• Train other maintenance personnel as needed.
