Job summary

Methods Machine Tools, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machine Tool Sales Representative in Arizona to grow the regional business. You will collaborate with Applications, Inside Sales and Service to expand customer base and promote solutions.

You will report to the Regional Sales Manager for the Arizona Office Territory, building relationships, achieving targets, and maintaining accurate forecasts while leveraging CRM and demonstrations to win orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales or Business; 4–6 years related experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience in machine tool, industrial or capital equipment sales.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred.
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong relationship-building and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and maintain the customer base in the territory.
• Create action plans to penetrate new markets and cultivate relationships; meet or exceed yearly sales targets.
• Analyze sales forecasts and profit margins; adjust strategies to meet company goals.
• Maintain forecast on new business/orders for the territory.
• Arrange product demonstrations at our technical centers.
• Establish professional industry relationships and partner with customers.
• Maintain daily communication with the Territory Sales Manager.
• Active cold calling in person and over the phone.
• Maintain CRM with contacts, accounts, opportunities, quotes, etc.
• Promote company products on social media platforms.
• Participate in industry trade associations.
