Ascend Staffing seeks a dependable CNC / Brake Press / Plasma Table Operator for Tooele, UT. Day Shift 6:30 AM sharp to 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday. The role requires operating CNC, brake press and plasma table equipment with basic CAD/CAM knowledge.

Weekly pay starts at $18.00/hour, with potential for more based on experience. Benefits include health insurance, training, and overtime options; strong mechanical aptitude and math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• CNC / Brake Press / Plasma Table Operator experience preferred.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Able to work in the US.
• Proven CNC operator experience/education.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
• Proficient with CAD/CAM and basic computer skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for CNC, brake press, and plasma table equipment.
• Operate CNC machines to perform drilling, grinding, milling tasks.
• Read blueprints and mechanical drawings to determine specifications.
• Translate instructions into machine commands so the machines can perform correctly.
• Supervise the machines while they execute tasks and make adjustments to improve results.
• Inspect and measure finished products against requirements to ensure quality.
• Follow all company safety procedures.

We are looking for a dependable and motivated CNC / Brake Press / Plasma Table Operator to join our team! The ideal candidate MUST have some basic knowledge or previous experience operating CNC equipment, a brake press, and/or a plasma table. We are willing to consider candidates with limited experience who have a strong willingness to learn.
