Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced CNC Laser Operator for second and weekend shifts in a reliable manufacturing environment. You will load sheet metal, run pre-programmed cuts on Mazak and Amada systems, monitor cycles, and perform basic quality checks.

Overtime on Fridays is available to maximize earnings. The role requires 1 year of CNC experience, no degree required, and offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a weekend incentive pay plan.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in CNC laser or plasma operation.
• Experience with Mazak and Amada equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic dimensional checks.

Responsibilities

• Load raw sheet metal onto CNC laser and plasma machine tables safely and accurately.
• Call up pre-programmed cutting routines and execute production runs on Mazak and Amada equipment.
• Monitor machine operations during cutting cycles to ensure proper machine performance and cut quality.
• Unload finished parts, deburr or remove tabs, and organize items for downstream processing.
• Conduct basic dimensional checks using calipers, tape measures, and gauges.
• Perform basic routine maintenance including nozzle checks and lens cleaning.
• Report program errors, material defects, or malfunctions to supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow PPE and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic routine maintenance, including nozzle checks, lens cleaning, and table slag removal.
• Promptly report program errors, material defects, or mechanical malfunctions to the shift supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to all facility safety guidelines and required PPE.

The essential functions of this role include:
