Job summary

Enjet Aero, LLC is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for the weekend day shift in Erie, PA. You will set up and operate CNC machines to produce machined parts while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires availability Friday, Saturday and Sunday 4:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 36-hour schedule plus a 4-hour bonus and a 25% shift differential. Training on first shift may be required to start. Enjet offers benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, 401K, and disability insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; CNC education preferred.
• Working knowledge of CNC machine equipment, tooling, and processes.
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity.
• Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load parts and operate machines (Lathe, Mill, and/or EDM).
• Ensure continuous production of parts that meet customer expectations.
• Perform minor edits of CNC program and replace tooling as needed.
• Inspect completed parts using micrometers, indicators, calipers, comparators, etc.
• Maintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management System.
• Monitor and document operational and performance issues and provide feedback to supervisor.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor and other staff.
• Other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Must be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday 4:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Position Description: The CNC Machine Operator produces machined parts by setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines. The position is for WEEKEND DAY shift - Friday, Saturday and Sunday 4:00 AM – 4:00 PM; working 36 hours and receiving a 4-hour bonus, totaling 40 hours, also includes a 25% shift differential. You must be available to train on 1 st shift.
