Job summary

Enjet Aero, LLC is seeking a Weekend CNC Machine Operator in Erie, PA to set up and run CNC equipment (lathe, mill, EDM) and ensure parts meet specifications. Training on 1st shift may be required.

The role offers a 36-hour weekend schedule (Fri–Sun 4:00 AM–4:00 PM) with a 4-hour bonus, a 25% shift differential, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary CNC education preferred.
• Experience with CNC machine equipment, tooling, and processes.
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Load parts and operate CNC machines (Lathe, Mill, and/or EDM).
• Maintain continuous production meeting customer quality expectations.
• Make minor CNC program edits and replace tooling as needed.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, indicators, calipers, and comparators.
• Uphold Quality Management System standards.
• Log and report operational issues to supervisor.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers and supervisors.
• Available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday 4:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Position Description: The CNC Machine Operator produces machined parts by setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines. The position is for WEEKEND DAY shift - Friday, Saturday and Sunday 4:00 AM – 4:00 PM; working 36 hours and receiving a 4-hour bonus, totaling 40 hours, also includes a 25% shift differential.You must be available to train on 1 st shift.

• Load parts and operate machines (Lathe, Mill, and/or EDM)
• Ensure continuous production of parts that meet customer expectations
• Perform minor edits of CNC program and replace tooling as needed
• Inspect completed parts using micrometers, indicators, calipers, comparators, etc.
• Maintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management System
• Monitor and document operational and performance issues and provide feedback to supervisor
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor and other staff
• Other duties as directed by supervisor
• Must be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday 4:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary CNC education preferred
• Working knowledge of CNC machine equipment, tooling, and processes
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity
• Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude
