Job summary

Sandvik Coromant in Westminster, SC is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and operate various machining equipment, perform quality checks, and ensure output meets blueprint specifications. The role involves CNC programming basics, robot calibration, and adherence to ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards. You will work on a weekend night shift (Fri–Sun, 7:00 PM–7:15 AM) on-site with no remote options.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
1-2 years' experience in a mechanical/manufacturing setting preferred.
Requires current authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Set up equipment per work instructions, blueprints, and specs, including basic CNC programs.
Adjust machine parameters and perform robot calibrations as trained.
Verify process capability using SPC and measurement tools.
Ensure products meet visual inspection standards.
Monitor operations to meet efficiency targets.
Support continuous improvement with peers and engineers.
Perform routine maintenance and tool evaluations.
Assist in training less experienced operators.
Maintain a clean, safe work area.
