The purpose of the Machine Operator position is to set up and operate various machining equipment while ensuring all processes meet blueprint specifications. This includes performing required quality checks using process‑specific measuring devices to verify compliance and maintain production accuracy.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Select and prioritize jobs using the Tracking Control System or as directed by leadership.
- Set up equipment in accordance with work instructions, blueprints, and specifications, including creating and adjusting basic CNC programs.
- Adjust machine parameters as trained, including performing required robot calibrations.
- Verify process capability using SPC or other control methods, utilizing process‑specific measurement tools such as PER, RollER, comparators, and the Hawk Vision System.
- Ensure all products meet required visual (ocular) inspection standards.
- Monitor operations to maintain established efficiency and utilization targets.
- Proactively identify and support continuous improvement opportunities in collaboration with peers, supervisors, and engineers.
- Perform routine equipment and tooling maintenance, including evaluating tooling conditions and requirements.
- Support team development by participating in skill‑building activities and assisting in training less experienced operators on equipment and related systems.
- Promote a positive team environment by fostering teamwork, communication, and collaboration across the workgroup and processes.
- Operate and utilize robotic transport systems as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete all assigned daily housekeeping responsibilities.

- Adhere to all company rules and safety policies.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- 1-2 years' experience working in a mechanical or manufacturing industry preferred.
- This position requires current authorization to work in the United States.
