Job summary

Sandvik Coromant in Westminster, SC is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and operate various machining equipment, ensuring all parts meet blueprint specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities include creating and adjusting basic CNC programs, performing routine maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement with the team. The role is on-site with weekend night shifts Friday through Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:15 AM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years’ experience in mechanical/manufacturing environment preferred.
• This position requires current authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment per work instructions, blueprints, and specifications; create and adjust basic CNC programs as needed.
• Operate machining equipment and monitor performance to ensure adherence to process specifications.
• Perform quality checks using process-specific measuring devices to verify accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and assist in training less experienced operators.
• Promote safe operations and adhere to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
