Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is looking for a CNC Machine Operator to work onsite in Springfield, Massachusetts. The successful candidate will set up and operate various machine tools, applying mechanics and math to produce precision parts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints, including geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
• Ability to determine and complete offsets through basic mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using precision instruments.
• Develop and improve Standard Work sheets for machining and assembly processes.
• Engage in the 5 Why Process for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Assemble and align components for various units.
• Maintain equipment efficiency by operating and reworking damaged parts.
